Terms and Conditions

  1. All Prices are exclusive of GST
  2. Any order placed with Hi Chai Sydney constitutes an agreement to be deemed an acknowledgment and acceptance by such person of the terms.

Order Confirmation/Deposit

  1. Bookings are secured via deposit payment. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to ensure the event date.
  2. All Payments must be made at least 5 days before the event if the final payment is not made promptly, Hi Chai Sydney reserves the right to cancel your booking, and a 20% deposit will be forfeited.
  3. Styling and set-up fees are not included in the prices on the menu
  4. In case of any special requirements, you can contact us and we will try to arrange it for the event at an additional cost.

Before the Event

  1. Any events conducted in public parks or malls are subject to a $150 Surcharge.
  2. The Hi Chai Team shall arrive at the destination about two hours before to commence setup. We may require your kitchen for preparation and setup. 

After the Event 

  1. Home orders: Customer to clean all platters/bowls and Hi Chai Sydney will organize a pickup on that day or suitable day required.
  2. Venue/public space orders: Hi Chai Sydeny to return for pack-up of Hi Chai Platters, tables, and decor at the end of your event. Any damaged items will need to be compensated by the client accordingly. This includes- Food Setup / Styling / Serving Ware / Tables / Food Warmers. Hi, Chai is not responsible for the cleanup of leftover food, disposables, and rubbish that needs to be taken care of by the client.

Delivery Orders

  1. Our minimum order requirement is $350 excluding GST and delivery charges, but if the delivery location is outside a 20km Radius of Marsden Park our minimum order requirement would be $750 excluding GST and delivery charges.
  2. Once the delivery time is confirmed, Hi Chai Sydney cannot guarantee a change of time later, due to other catering commitments.

Service Range and cancellations

  1. Our service range is 20 km, any event outside of the radius, will require a transportation fee depending on the location of the location of the event. In case the event is canceled by the client under any circumstances, the booking amount is not refundable. In case the client has paid the full amount and cancels within two days before the event 75% of the total received is non-refundable. 

Note: All food contains traces of nuts and other allergens. If you are unsure whether food is suitable for your dietary requirements, please refrain from eating. Hi, Chai Sydney is not liable for any mishaps.
